A tunnel, a highway, a border crossed even before takeoff.
Monaco hosts few people and travels a lot. For its foreign opponents, it long remained a curiosity: a team from a country with no hinterland, arriving quietly and often leaving with the result.
Estádio da Luz, Old Trafford, Signal Iduna Park
May 6, 1992, Estádio da Luz in Lisbon. Cup Winners' Cup final against Werder Bremen. A 2-0 defeat, with goals from Klaus Allofs and Wynton Rufer. Sixteen thousand spectators in a stadium that then held nearly one hundred and thirty thousand: one of the most sparsely attended European finals ever played.
March 18, 1998, Old Trafford. Quarter-final second leg against Manchester United, after a 0-0 draw in the Principality. David Trezeguet scores, the match ends 1-1, and Monaco advances on the away goals rule. A qualification earned at one of the most followed clubs in Europe.
February 21, 2017, Etihad Stadium. Round of 16 first leg against Manchester City: Monaco scores three times in Manchester, with a brace from Radamel Falcao and a goal from Kylian Mbappé, but falls 5-3. The following April 12, at Signal Iduna Park in Dortmund, the team wins 3-2 with another brace from Mbappé, in a match postponed by twenty-four hours following the attack on the Borussia team bus.
FROM THE ESTÁDIO DA LUZ TO SIGNAL IDUNA PARK, MONACO HAS HAD ITS BIG NIGHTS ELSEWHERE.
What the Principality club represents outside its own walls comes down to this: a very small territory, and evenings won in very large stadiums.

Do you have a question? We’re here to help.
Our team will assist you in choosing your jersey, size, and personalization.
How do I choose the right size?
Compare the guide's measurements with a jersey you already own. This is the most reliable method. View the size guide.
Can I add a name and a number?
Yes. Select the personalization option on the product page, then enter the desired name and number. Please double-check the spelling before adding the jersey to your cart.
How long does the flocking process take?
Personalization may add to the processing time. The estimated timeframe is indicated at checkout and tracking information is sent upon shipment.
Can I exchange my jersey?
Non-personalized items may be exchanged within 30 days. A jersey customized with a name or number cannot be returned.
How do I care for my jersey?
Wash it cold, inside out, with a mild detergent. Avoid the tumble dryer and never iron directly over the flocking or patches.
What are the delivery times?
Orders are prepared quickly and shipped with tracking. The exact delivery time depends on the destination and any potential personalization.
How can I track my order?
You will receive an email with your tracking number as soon as the package is handed over to the carrier.
