From the Antas to the Dragão
For half a century, the club played at the Antas, inaugurated in 1952 and embedded in the city. In 2003, it moved to the Estádio do Dragão, which takes its name from the dragon on the crest.

The 1980s had already produced Fernando Gomes, a two-time European Golden Shoe winner. Two decades later, the generation of Vítor Baía and Deco followed up with the UEFA Cup in 2003 and the Champions League in 2004.
A city that calls itself undefeated was bound to eventually choose a dragon for itself.
Porto's blue and white are tied to the river, to the North, and to a club that never asked for permission to go to Europe.
