For 2026/27, RSC Anderlecht is reunited with adidas and a silhouette that defined some of the greatest chapters in its history. A new jersey. But for several generations of Mauve and White, something profoundly familiar.

The mauve

Before the kit suppliers, before the sponsors, there was already a color.

Mauve. Rare in football, instantly recognizable in Belgium. For generations, seeing eleven mauve jerseys step onto a pitch has been enough to know that Anderlecht is playing.

The designs have changed. The collars, the sponsors, the fabrics, the crests. The color has remained. Mauve and white.

The three stripes

The 1970s marked the beginning of a partnership that would leave a lasting impression on the club's visual identity: Anderlecht and adidas. Mauve and the three stripes.

During their shared history, the Sporting built a major part of its modern legacy. Trophies in Belgium. European nights. And five continental titles, a scale that few Belgian clubs have achieved.

For several generations, adidas didn't really feel like a kit supplier. The three stripes were simply part of the scenery.

The European nights

There was a time when the great teams of the continent knew exactly what it meant to come and play Anderlecht. The Parc Astrid. The stands right on the pitch. The mauve.

Rensenbrink. Van Himst. The finals, the Cup Winners' Cups, the UEFA Cup. A Belgian team with no complexes against the big European names.

And in many of those archival images: the mauve, and the three stripes.

Then the generations

Until 2026. This time, they are coming back. On a purposefully recognizable mauve jersey, featuring subtle tone-on-tone pinstripes. Three white stripes on the shoulders. A white polo collar. And, on the crest, three stars.

Then you turn the jersey over, and under the collar, two words.
