June 23, 1998, Stade Geoffroy-Guichard. The final group match of the French World Cup: Morocco beats Scotland 3-0, with a brace from Salaheddine Bassir and a goal from Abdeljalil Hadda. At the same moment, Norway pulls off an upset against Brazil and secures qualification. A clear victory, and time to pack their bags again.

February 14, 2004, Stade de Radès, near Tunis. Morocco reaches the final of the Africa Cup of Nations for the first time, after dispatching Mali 4-0. Tunisia wins 2-1 on home soil; Youssef Mokhtari had equalized before the break.

August 8, 2024, Stade de la Beaujoire in Nantes. The Moroccan Olympic team beats Egypt 6-0 and secures the bronze: the first Olympic medal won by Moroccan football. Soufiane Rahimi finishes as the tournament's top scorer.
